& weldone to everyone else. I told you I shot poorly with my skif that is now a wooden spoon for every Co2 round this season

There maybe a new Co2 pistol for me soon, so I might come last with that one next time round

Happy with the HW45 & HW40 though.

Why can't I do that with the Steyr? You spend all that money on a state of the art pistol and beat it with a £250 second hand springer It just doesn't make sense does it?

Cheers Paddy, (awful pun though, even by your standards ) I am both pleased and impressed with this pistol, it will be interesting to see if I am able to exploit its potential.

Well you are certainly doing well with the 45 looking at the leader board, and two above you are using 'target' pistols. Says a lot for both the pistol and the shooter.

All in all a good month this month, big thanks as always to Mike for organising this one, and Paddy for doing the scores.

I know awful pun, but I thought what the heck.

I have a few options at the moment for another C02 pistol. So not telling, as I will try them out for myself & see which one suits me best, rather than just looks

Will try that new trigger technique next time round.

I didn't think about the other springer pistols higher than me were target ones, that's made me feel alot better.

& thanks Mike for actually running & collecting the scores for the comp.

Thanks for all your gratitude, but it's not necessary - I enjoy running the comp and reading all your emails and all the banter on here afterwards as much as you enjoy shooting it.

Well look at it this way, if you finish below me at the end of the season you can say "ah well, he had a recoilless target pistol, what do you expect". If you finish above me then I'm......



.....well, stuffed really, no excuses. And the way things are going, I'm stuffed. (see the leader board for an explanation.)

I would just add that the technology is not the whole story. I consistently outshoot myself with the 6M and FWB65 over the Steyr. Over £1000 worth of pistol and I can't shoot it for toffee.
No, it's not for sale.....yet!
