You have a pistol that does 7.5ft/lbs? Are you sure?

One thing I have noticed is that the gun seems to be dieseling pellets, the barrel has a burnt smell about it and I saw a puff of smoke come from the gun on a few shots! How can I rectify this? Will it stop with use or do I need to strip and degrease it a bit? Will it damage the gun if I do nothing?

The B2 Jef refers to is a rifle. The pistol equivalent is the S2 (Chinese break barrel with brown stained wooden grip). I would not recommend an S2.

If the Scorpion has just been serviced, it may well be dieseling. It should settle down after a few hundred pellets.

Or less if you're lucky, it's unlikely to be anything to worry about.

Congratulations on the purchase though! It looks very nice, it might be older than twenty years, it has the earlier type of safety catch.

    Classic pistols!!!
