It will most likely be on Shooting the Breeze rather than here.

That's great, I believe Dan Smith's done really well too.

What's it like underfoot on the show ground?

Not sure, I couldn't see anything below my knees
Brilliant first days shoot; I was on the lakes section, so read 'Quagmire'. By the second peg we all looked like Morph whilst the wind continued to batter us from every which way and then the hailstones started. My kneepads lasted 5 pegs before the velcro became saturated with so much mud they decided to make a bid for freedom. I can't remember ever getting so muddy on a shoot before, but once you'd accepted that at some point you had to 'embrace' it, it wasn't too bad. My lingering memory today will be glancing up to see Dan Turner toboganning down the hill on his front to get the mud of his jacket.

We've just got back and have finished cleaning the waterproofs ready for tomorrow. This involved standing in the back garden with a stiff brush and buckets of water. (We've been banned from using the washing machine or tumbledryer as they've ended up looking like a muddy wall of death inside in the past...)

Looking forward to tomorrow now and having the chance to have a better wander around.

    55, on the lakes .

The showground wasn't too bad when we left at about 5.

    Grass gone, firm mud remaining.

see Dan Turner toboganning down the hill on his front to get the mud of his jacket.

It didn't work and I just ended up looking more like Wurzel or as one of my shooting comrades in mud said, 'Stig of the dump', with grass stuck to the inches of mud.
Still, it didn't effect my awfull shooting. Looking forward to tomorrow
