What's your problem? Finding a gunsmith that's even willing to work on one will be a bit of a challenge, but you might inquire with Fultons at Bisley, Norman Clark in Rugby, or Peter Dyson in Harrogate. One more worth a try would be Edward J Blackley & Son in Suffolk (specialists in antique arms restoration). Of course none of those are exactly local to you, but MH are a bit of a specialist item these days.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

Fowlersmoons Guns, Gloucestershire may be worth a try.

They seem to deal in a lot of antique firearms, and at the very least they may well have some useful contacts.
