Hi, I bought the above rifle a couple of weeks ago and have just got all the gear to load for it
I'm a competent reloader for my modern nitro guns but don't have a clue were to start with this one, can't find any load data!
I'm using Aussie brass, 500gr cast bullet and FFG 777. Can't use blackpowder at the moment and I want to stay with the 777 as I have a good source.
Any ideas

The Mk4`s tend to have a large bore. Mine slugs at 0.466.
You can paper patch 45/70 bullets or use custom cast bullets.
I know nothing about 777 but use 1.5 fg in mine.
Use a BP lube on your bullets.

Here is what I do when using 777 in my MK4. 60-65 grains, by weight, 777, quantity of couscous level to the base of the neck ( to fill air-space ) carded wad, fiber wad, carded wad, 500 grain lubricated bullet sized to .464. This works well, a very satisfying bang and consistency. I have only tried these loads up to 100 yards with reasonable success. Cannot comment on longer distance. Happy shooting.
Just sent a busy morning loading ammo.
45gr ffg 777, card disk, 30gr cous cous and a 500gr bullet out of a Lee mould. Can't wait to try it out!!!!!
Antbody tried making the cases out of brass 24g shellshot cases? I've seen an article on the net and midway do them for a £1 each which is a hell of a lot cheaper than £4+ for 450/577 from Kranks
i have some 24g magtech shot shells for sale if interested best part of a case
