Hi Garry,
Not a 1st choice option for FT.
Much better to go for a 2nd hand big nikko 60 or a big BSA 60.
Much better glass which will help with the range finding.

the impossible is done right away-miracles take a little longer
All Nikko Stirlings are great optics
Just put one on my lads s200 and he loves it more than the mtc viper i as took off it not as busy on the ret
I recently bought one to get started again at FT. I have the mil dot reticle . Optics seem clear enough and positive clicks on the turrets. I have a 150mm side wheel but have found the focusing at 45 - 55yds is very tight. I have calibrated the sidewheel every 5yds from 10 -55. Range finds easily to about 40 yds but marks on wheel are about 3mm gaps between 45 to 55. Very little room for error! Having said that I am now used to it and doing ok at Club but not shot a "proper" competition yet.
I think they are good scopes if you get them for the right money. But for a little more cash I would now get a second hand "proper" big Nikko if one is available.
cracking scope highly recommended!!
many thanks for all the info guys.garry
