    mercury scope and mounts..recomendations please.

can anyone recommend a scope and mounts for my mercury ? i seem to recall reading that a certain make of mount was the most suitable for the mercury, but cant remember the make

i'd also like to put a scope on it,and am looking for recommendations for a reasonable scope, that would suit the mercury.

oh, almost forgot...does anyone know how to improve the mercury trigger? mines pretty crap

    Reach back mounts

keep the scope on the lighter side - the guns not that accurate anyway.

    Trigger is what it is

Sportsmatch do a special one piece mount that is relieved along the scope rails (OP12C). This allows the scope to overhang the curved end block and helps with eye relief.

    Bkl...

...also do something similar but I can't remember the no.

That said on my recent Merc S I have a period shimmed mount, I've just fitted a period Pecar 6x40 (ish) and the length of the rear part of the tube gives almost perfect eye relief
