I had a similar Crosman model 1, it was fantastic fun until the pump seal worn, it took about twenty pumps to get near full power

I sold an absolute minter on here in Feb - power wise it was fine, but for prolonged plinking spells, you started to "feel the burn"

Supposed it kept me fit (well sort of) !

Just read the 1980 test of the 2200! They were quiet impressed.

I am impressed that one of them is still going, quite cheaply made but nice to use.

I had the .177 version, the Crosman 766 and wore it out, it's good exercise but check that the rather thin barrel doesn't come loose, there is a grubscrew which holds it tight to the receiver. The barrel shroud will stay firm, but the inner rifled bit can get a little wobbly.
