    Rebuilding Walther CP88

I've managed to buy a CP88 4' in nickel with black handles from a friend for a tenner....the only issue is that it is in bits.

I would try and rebuild it myself but can't seem to find any guides only exploded photos which leave a bit to be desired.

Can anyone recommend somebody to rebuild this for me or somewhere on that net that has a guide to doing this??

    Cheers
    Owen

I could onpy find diagrams my self when i rebuilt mycpsort. It is a pita but can be done. The only problem was the hammer would jam due to the sear for put it in single action. (although you could only do thos woth the cover off) on the end i just removed the sear and it works fine.

If you get stuck Owen, I am only just up the road in Bristol, I may be able to pop down and help you out if you need it. Do you know why it was in bits? and are they all there? Look here for a decent sized exploded view. There is a parts list in the manual. (If you don't have a manual, drop me a PM with an e-mail address and I'll send you a PDF copy).

    Good luck

Bugger! I deleted 3 pics off my phone just a couple of weeks ago, from when I had my CP88 chrome plated! Kicking myself, they'd've been right up your street!
no such words as alot or ect, and do you really want to add a second 'o' in 'lose', unless you're talking about something that isn't very tight?

if you find any springs missing, try cutting down springs found in ball point pens.
