Hello everyone.
I am looking for the schimel P-22, or GP-22.
I have came across few on the american auctions, but i could not register because i dont have an american address.
Anyone could tell me more about the actual pistol?
How hard is it to get one in UK?
Thank you.

Hi
Try Lawrie Amatruda (Banstead) for a GP22 Gasser. A fantastic pistol.
If you find a genuine P22 (pneumatic) I'll give you £1k and all me change
Richard.
If its the Luger copy model there was one at Chris Johnsons shop in Harrogate - not cheap though and I believe it was not currently working .

Thanks guys, I will have a look in the places you have mentioned.
It is a luger copy yes.
They are not a problem to reseal provided its in reasonable condition.
They are made of Monkey metal and prone to corrosion/metal fatigue which can cause expansion within the body, making it very difficult to take apart to service.
Drop it on something hard and it will more than likely shatter!
They take an 8 grm Co2 bulb.
Loading them is half the fun, get it wrong and you empty the co2 in one go.
Try and get one in good working order.

CAN YOU STILL GET 8gm capelets. Jenny Dipple
Yes you can.
Boots used to do them not sure if they do any more, they were gold in colour and a fraction over size to a standard cartridge.
If not try beer-making suppliers the 8 grm bulbs (green) are needed in charging home made beer kegs or something like that.
I have a couple of dozen-stashed away might have an address I will take a look later.

Hi Follks
Here's the official website
http://www.theschimel.com
All the best Mick
Thanks for link Mick didnt realise he had put up a web site.
I see that the back strap, Trigger, and co2 bulb chamber are all up for quotes for machinists.
Personally I think he will have a very, very, long wait before anybody offers to make them up!
I dread to think what the finished parts would cost!
The back strap would need to be cast, would be a nightmare trying to machine that up.
The Trigger and Co2 chamber not a problem, pretty simple to make.
There is a winged cap with an internal thread that fits on the top of this chamber, its cast too and easily broken, I made one up in Brass took most of a morning to do!
