    FWB 100 pistol-how much?

A dealer by me has a FWB 100 for sale for £399.
It looks a bit used, and the grip has been hacked and filled out with some sort of filler.
He admits that he's taken a guess at the price, so I'm wondering if anyone has a rough figure in mind, as his price does seem a bit high. I think he said he bought it 4 years ago, and it still hasn't shifted yet, so I'd like an idea of how much to offer for it.
That's if Cones doesn't get there first

    Cheers

Keep an eye on this one

It’s selling in about 30 minutes from now and bid up to £275. Should give you some idea.

offer him £300, you can only use egun as a rough guide genraly stuff on ther sells for less than it would on this site,eg i brought mint fwb65 fro £180 the same week one sold here for £240 + buying from a shop is always going to cost a bit more but at least you know just how knackerd it is before you part with your cash!

It's a shame the grip has been modified. Feinwerkbau 100's are wonderful pistols. I had to pay through the nose to get one here in the states.

    Hi,

I paid £260 for one from the For Sale section and felt I'd got a good deal...

    Kevin.
They can be modified to 'fit' the hand of the shooter. Think it is quite common to do this, certainly in my club - although I am not a pistol shooter.

    Thanks for the replies.
I would have gone for the 103 Nickpan's selling if we were closer for FTF.
I've got an idea about the 100 now anyway, but the grips really are a mess even for £300.
    Cheers again.

I think druckluftwaffenonline.de may have spare grips for FWB's. Maybe thats an idea.
And, yeah, in serious match pistol country, adjusting the grip to fit is quite common indeed..And a downside when reselling..

I went back today and sounded him out for £300, but he wasn't interested, even though he's had it on the wall for 4 years.
Never mind, I should have a Tau7 arriving on Saturday morning with any luck.

Tha Tau arrived yesterday. Once I'd altered the sights to suit me, I was getting one hole groups. Very good pistol, wish I'd found one of these 2 years ago when I first got interested in airguns.

    FWB 100 cost

I purchased a FWB 100 from someone at my local pistol club for £100. The grip had been 'modified' and after buying the pistol I worked on the grip to bring it up to normal standards. City Air Weapons in Birmingham have a FWB 100 for £495. I would not pay £300 for a FWB 100 that needed work to bring it to it's original state. My FWB 100 is probably worth a lot more now than it was was a bought it for £100. Though I would never sell it.
