    HW 40 Holster ?

Hello Gents,I'm waiting for the Postman to deliver my new purchase, and just wondered-Are Holsters legal in this country,if I'm on private land? Do they have to be lockable (Zipped up).
And does anyone know of a company that make or stock a holster for the HW 40.
    Your comments are all welcome.
    Thanks.

Yes holsters are legal, but don’t go wearing them around where you wouldn’t normally be allowed a gun out of its case.

What sort of holster are you looking for, as I recently looked through a lot of holsters when I bout one a few weeks ago.

One to go under my Jacket,to keep it out of the way while I'm out with my Rifle.
Shoulder Holster, I think. An ordinary one would be no good for bending down I guess ?
Where did you look ? I've googled HW 40 holster, but found nothing specific !
    Thanks.

You might have to be a bit carful with that, if you get stopped it might be looked at as a concealed weapon or something, I’m sure someone will be along shortly to let us know.

Have you thought about one that goes on your thigh, not sure what they’re called, drop leg or something?? They look like they’d be ok for having on while you’re out and about with the rifle. (The sort you see on swat films)

As the hw40 isn’t the smallest of pistols it might be a bit uncomfortable in a shoulder holster.

I’m on the uni computers at the moment so I haven’t got access to all the links I saved which are on my home comp, when i get home ill have a look through.

I basically searched for holsters for real guns from the states, and looked at what was close to the gun I had, fairly easy for me as I was looking for a holster for a colt air pistol, which is near enough the same as the proper colt apparently.

    http://www.surplusandadventure.com/s...-holsters.html

    http://www.airshooter.co.uk/acatalog/Holsters.html

there's a couple of leg holsters and a couple of shoulder holsters there, my main search was for a speed holster so these are the only two good links for you.

If you search item number 330425778196 in e bay
Then go to his sellers home page, I’m sure you can find holsters from there
