Phoenix G.60 air pistol - breech plug

I have a .22 version of the SP50 made by the Phoenix Arms Company Limited (long since gone) of Eastbourne, East Sussex. This is the one (as well as the G.50 which was the .177 version) which was operated by depressing the barrel to compress the springs. The pellet was inserted and rammed in with a breech plug which was then screwed tight.
I lost the vital breech plug ages ago, rendering the pistol useless except as a paperweight - I wonder if anyone knows where I might get a replacement, or has a cunning idea of something else I can use instead.
The original part number for the .22 breech plug was 2-55.

It's probably a standard thread, perhaps if you can work out what thread it is or find a bolt thich fits someone with a lathe could turn the bolt into a replacement?

Being a .22, the thread on the plug is likely to be of a larger diameter than the standard .177 Gat so if you could find a bolt or screw to fit then some careful filing ( or a tame turner ) should produce something to get you going.
If you want rid of it, let me know.

    Carl.
