25/04/10 Rnd 1 at Lea Valley

Cheers to everyone that gave it a crack today at Round 1. Congratulations to the winners today in a very picturesque woodland and open range.
A couple of mishaps befell Mark Sherlock (who shot a .177 rather than his beloved .22) and Mike Carney ,whos gun was dropped and he was unable to continue. Good luck lads. And , stangely Roger Bentley didnt submit a score card

Just to say I really enjoyed myself today so thanks Andy and the rest of the crew for putting on a good course. By the way Andy it was a .20 I was shooting and not a .177 and they weren't mishaps they were ranging shots for Anne ! Honest

    Thanks again

lmao, yup, sort of lob-and-hope time!
Superb course so thanks to all involved. I had a very enjoyable shoot with Mark and Mike. I must try and get some more practice in before the next one... and possibly check the zero *ahem*. I've shot a 36 with open sights and only managed a 38 with a scope this time, so maybe next time......hmmmmmm!
    I wonder......
Sorry I had to dash off soon after, I remembered the greenhouse needed opening before the inhabitants sizzled back into compost.

Anyone have any pics of this.

I really wanted to attend but i have no spring gun at the mo as my 98 is with a gunsmith, and due to him not being to well i don't know when i will be getting it back.

But this is pretty much by the by as i have been laid up since Friday with my back.

Hopefully i will be able to make the rest.
so please if you have pics could you post a link.

    ATB,
    Kelley
