    game licenses

    i know they are obtained from the PO, but can anyone tell me the price of them, and what information they need etc

    price used to be charged on length of time day, week, full season. never bought so price

    It's a petty amount which is hardly worth the effort, something like £6 for the year.

    cool, worth it just for the licence to kill bit.

    do all post offices do them? going on my first driven pheasant shoot on tuesday and this was left off my to do list

    If you go to *any* Post Office, expect at least five to ten minutes of confusion behind the counter when you ask for a Game Licence. Half the time the staff haven't heard of them, sometimes they confuse them with Gaming Licenses, sometimes they're downright hostile. And Game Lincenses are requested so infrequently that I've heard at least two dozen apocryphal stories about shooters going to renew their licence and finding that no-one had bought a licence since them the year before...
