    MAD Open Results 2nd May

The course was hard, the wind was unpredictable and the rain was persistent, all the ingredients for a good monthlt club shoot.
Great to see Darren back on form taking top honours with a clear win over Mr Doughnut himself Geoff Ryder, who was happy to tell everyone that he would have been in a shoot-off for first if only he hadn't got the dreaded doughnut.
Unusual to see Doppa outside the top 3 let alone the top 10, but it didn't impress the handicap secretary of the Wednesday evening shoots (which start this week) who clearly thought that it was a poor effort to get a handicap higher than scratch.

    Darren Quincey--56
    Geoff Ryder--54
    Jon Houghton--53
    Darren Lindsey--53
    Tim Bohr--52
    Gary Chillingworth--52
    Simon Vant--52
    Steve Griggs--52
    Martin Goodsall--50
    Jennie Stone--49
    Alan Moss--48
    Ray Hampton--48
    Ian Bainbridge--48
    Dave Allam--47
    Shaun Eustace--46
    Barry Smith--46--Top Junior
    Jack Houghton--45
    Simon Parker--45
    Richard Woods--45
    Wayne Marriott--44
    Steve Gillies--44
    Lloyd Davies--44
    Dean Roachard--43
    Mitchell Ward--41
    Brandon Upton--26
Callum Quincey--DNF (Dad wouldn't lend him his coat)

Just to remind everyone that the clubs Wednesday Evening shoots start again this week, everyone welcome, just turn up anytime between 430 and 7pm and as long as you have someone to shoot round with, away you go.
Most people will be starting on the course about 6pm.
This is all done on a handicap system, up to a maximum of 10, so everybody is in with a chance of winning.

    Why was he crying?????????

He wanted to shoot against Geoff Ryder and asked at the signing in tent if he could ,the reason was that at Kibby last week Barry thought he was unlucky to finish second to Geoff with a 57 ,so he went out with revenge on his mind .WTFIBS is what it is all about, Geoff gave him a good lashing and sent him on his way and yes he was crying like a baby but you should have seen his little face change when he won £20.00 from the bonus kitty .
Better luck next time and role on Bisley

Even fatherly love would not have let my son nick my jacket, not while the heater in the car works fine. I thought it summer anyway?
