The course was hard, the wind was unpredictable and the rain was persistent, all the ingredients for a good monthlt club shoot.
Great to see Darren back on form taking top honours with a clear win over Mr Doughnut himself Geoff Ryder, who was happy to tell everyone that he would have been in a shoot-off for first if only he hadn't got the dreaded doughnut.
Unusual to see Doppa outside the top 3 let alone the top 10, but it didn't impress the handicap secretary of the Wednesday evening shoots (which start this week) who clearly thought that it was a poor effort to get a handicap higher than scratch.

Just to remind everyone that the clubs Wednesday Evening shoots start again this week, everyone welcome, just turn up anytime between 430 and 7pm and as long as you have someone to shoot round with, away you go.
Most people will be starting on the course about 6pm.
This is all done on a handicap system, up to a maximum of 10, so everybody is in with a chance of winning.
