    In Greater London.

I have 4 clubs within 5 miles for rimfire and Bisley is 45 minutes away for fullbore.

Biggest problem is finding land to hunt on, have to travel a fair way.

Sounds as though you're pretty conveniently fixed for rimfire! Do any of those 4 clubs offer gallery rifle, or black powder?

3 of them. But I'm a member of the other one

I shoot a 45 colt rifle at 100 yards every other month, so don't really miss it. And I could shoot black powder at Bisley if I really wanted to.....

    Another surrey club.

So Jim, if you want to leave the colonies and come back to mother England you need to live in Surrey, not London.

Wandsworth and Wimbledon Park smallbore clubs are in London. No fullbore though. What *exactly* are you trying to find out?

My wife and I have visited London (and other places in England) the past three years - can't make it this year, though - and have toyed with the idea (just that) of possibly moving there for a period of time after she retires (I retired last December ).

I was wondering if there were any places in London, reachable by the tube preferably since there's no way we'd maintain a vehicle there, that I could go to do some shooting.

Live outside of london and get the train in if you want a bit of culture.

    Horrible place, best avoided.

    Bisley have some nice caravans
