    Shooting glasses......Recommend an optician please

Help!.....I have recently tried my luck at 6m rifle shooting (recoiling springer / open sights only), and after not using open sights (I normally now only use aperture rears) for a fair while, am having real problems with focus etc.....I am in Malvern Worcs., but don't mind travelling to find an optician that knows the problems that shooters have....any leads, contacts very gratefully received!

You've got the 'Bisley' optician who operates out of Bristol, which is about 75 miles for you if Autoroute is correct! (At Bisley for the big matches)

Nice chap and I'm going back to him myself soon.

    Hi,

I would go Oakley every time, they may not be the best colours but for optics / safety dont thik they can be beat.

most of the interchangeable sets now come with prescription inserts

    http://www.shooting-glasses.co.uk/index.php?cPath=13

the inserts can be taken to any optician to have your prescription lenses fitted to the insert or if you know your prescription the insert can be sent of
to an online optician who can do them for about £30
