    Webley Service Stock ID and Value please

    I think it may be for a Webley Service ? Comes with stock bolt. Can I have a ball park valuation please ?

    Thanks

    Stock ID

    Not a Webley service, neither a BSA I suspect, chequering is in an interesting
    position to be either of these? Possibley of pre war foreign origin, Milita? After that I have no further suggestions, but I suspect others will have a better idea

    Looks like a pre war Haenel

    As previous poster, early type Haenel / Tell/ Lepco would be my guess, In any case, the general look and shape are wrong for a BSA item, and the spigot on the grip looks to be far too long to engage with a BSA trigger block , see pic below;

    IMHO, the appearance is definitely Germanic.......Garvin is yer maun I would imagine

    But that stock bolt does look very similar to an early BSA one!
