    Kibby Marksman Rnd 2 Results

A very wet and windy day at kibby today.
This didn't seem to dampen the spirit of the hardy folk that ventured out onto what can only be described as a very tricky course.
With 25 targets being shot twice it gave the competitors a chance of seeing where the first pellet landed to try and direct the second shot into the kill zone.
Many thanks to Andy W and Rob B for helping with the course setting/packing away I am sure it is appreciated by everyone that took part today

Some of the shooters score cards seemed to be missing at the end of the day not sure if they had been blown away or if some people didn't put there cards in. If your name isn't on the list and should be please PM me and I will get it altered.

    Kibby Results

Thanks for a great day, throughly enjoyed it, although I've never had a totally dry shoot at Kibby it always seems to rain.
And my shoot of the day peg 13 well over 50 yards and killed it twice.
Great course and real testing conditions, you had to think about every shot.
And very pleased with my 78.

    Talking Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My god that was windy!! My head still feels like its stuck in a turbine and yet again I have the complexion of a Ribena berry.

What a super course!! Just a shame the howling wind and rain didn't allow me to fully enjoy it...I was trying to stop the rain from going down the back of my neck to emerge from my left boot and un-stick the bits of tissue paper from my glasses and the scope before they formed a papermache sheet.

My thanks to Rob for acting an an impromptu hand warmer. By peg 20 I was fading fast as my fingers had gone numb and I couldn't feel the underlever anymore. Congratulations to all who shot; some remarkable scores considering the bizarre wind conditions; the string on peg 4 managed to go in 3 different directions all at the same time.
If the wind joins us next time remind me to bring a cardboard cutout of a cockeral to stick on my head...

..... if I'm going to stand there being blown left and right like a weathervane I might as well look the part.

    Missing in action 2

Thanks to the colonel for posting mine and Toms scores. What a wet and windy day and a really challenging coarse (nearly ran out of ammo I was not expecting that many targets!). Big thanks to Rob for always making us feel very welcome (Tom thinks you are tops!)

Weather was awfull felt like i was on a fishing trawler at times with the amount of water that was going in my scope
Must agree with batfink what a fantastic course, you could tell that a lot of time had been spent on the placement of each target. That 15mil squizza on top of the telegraph pole
The gorilla head shot half way up ben nevis
Great people at a great club
    thanks to everyone involved

There was some splendid shooting done considering the conditions and and some excellent Banter and typically Kibby leg pulling,

An interesting and challenging course with difficult weather conditions, just a shame my gun broke on peg 6. And I was doing so well despite knocking down then donutting target three, the first shot wasn't a fluke honest. Some suprisingly good scores all things considered, well done lads and lasses. Hopefully my spring guide will be replaced by next time(a good excuse to get a v-mach inside).

Looks like I missed a fun day

Unfortunately my back has been seriously painful and for the past week I have been unable to stand fully upright. This bloody back issue has cost me too many days shooting this year Hopefully things will improve soon and I will be able to join you all next week.

Well done to all who managed to shoot in those conditions.

    All the best
    Bob
