If you email Weihrauch in Germany with the serial number they will be able to tell you.

    Hi Bitlab

Does it have a safety catch at the rear of the trigger block??

If no then it's pre 1977 (the HW35 has been in production since 1957- older than me )

I have a pre safety catch model that has been confirmed by Weihrauch as being produced in 1972 and is a HW35e..

The serial# of mine is 423452, if yours is close to this, it will give you some idea of the production year..

The HW35 has been around probably since around 1951, not '57 John.

After the incident tonight with the trigger shoe - you should be having detention Andy.
When I was a school I was the teachers pet. She kept me in a cage at the back of the class.

I have nearly completed my lines Ian . I have completed 510 to be precise of "I must never fit a brass trigger shoe to a Feinwerkbau Sport". Spent last night polishing trigger blade with Autosol trying to remove evidence of allen screw marks. God your a hard task-master. I will remember to bring you in a Mars bar next week prior to gun inspections.
    Naughty Andy.
