The Crosman/Benjamin Marauder is pretty popular in the US. Is it outside the country as well?
As a lower cost PCP with decent power and accuracy it is selling very well here. "Made in USA" may be part of it but the price point has to be a bigger part.
In comparing them to the finer rifles they are tinkertoys in the fine furnishings department. Nowhere near as nice as their higher priced brothers and the price reflects this.
How are they received in the land of Theoben, FX, Evanix and Weihrauch?
I would have one...drop in the 3rd party reg I see on the Yellow Forum...running sub 12FPE I bet it would be killer in .177.
The biggest problem with the marauder in the UK seems to be a complete lack of marketing. Webley is (or at least used to be) the UK distributer for Crossman & they only list the Rat Catcher & Rabbit Stopper on their website.
I'm pretty sure I have seen the Marauder on a least a few airgun shop websites but they are pretty expensive due to weak pound, import duty & VAT & rip off Britain synderone. So while they are cheap for you guys they are expensive for us so most people would probably go for something like the Air Arms S200 & S400 / S410 instead.
Price will probably be shockingly different from the good ol' USA's.![]()

The Marauder is due for sale in this country by ASI any time now. It's just making a few trips back & forth while it sorts out it's AT measures. I heard this about a month ago so it's just a matter of time now before it's properly launched here.
