Carlos , the Jumbo was I remember still being sold new in gunshops in 1988 /89 , but was retalied earlier and from memory without the Mauser tag . Just a little before my time .
Hello everyone.
I'm still looking to find air guns that are in good condition:
To send to Spain.
Here in Spain there is nothing.
1) jumbo record mauser
2) Webley Mark I or 3)
3) Webley Premier MarkII
Do you know somewhere I can find?. They have to be the best.
What year may be the jumbo mauser record?¿years 80?
Thank you all.

Hi Carlos,
The Record Jumbo was sold in the UK in 2 versions. The standard with fixed sights and a weaker spring and the Deluxe with adjustable sights and a slightly more powerful spring. I think the Mauser name may have been used on the continent and in the United States but us Brits were stuck with just the plain Record Jumbo. I bought my first one in 1984, which is when the pistol was introduced to the UK and it continued to be sold up to the early/mid 90's.
Try doing a search on Protek Supplies for your pistols. I think they had a nice Premier Mk2 last time I looked. Ask them if they will post to Spain. Hopefully Phil or Vic can help you.
Kind regards
John

Hi Carlos,
Yes, the Jumbo was definitely German. They were made by Fritz Barthelmes and were a popular compact air pistol when they were around. It is just the Mauser name was never used in the UK.
Kind regards,
John
