extra expense of traveling on the Friday, plus cost of room, when offset against the hour or so late ill be doesn't really seem worth it.

so if for the 5 june one i get train to leicester-bus to range ill be there for 10(only an hour late), and then on the 3J uly if i meet you at that station then go up with you we will be on time for that one.?

Normal club days ( June 5th) arrive when you like ,there are no set start times we only shoot till about 1pm though.Pistol Gala we will accomodate anyone who misses the 10am start time as mentioned before,so dont worry. The idea is to enjoy the day and get as much pistol shooting in as possible.

i booked all my train tickets and stuff today for both events.
I'm a bit pissed that the alecto doesn't have a normal scope rail

The Alecto has a weaver rail (minus the slots) on top. I mounted a Leupold hand-gun scope on mine, and I've seen them with various red-dot and holographic sights mounted, so it shouldn't be a problem.

What time do you want me there to set up Steve?

I will be there from 7am to open the gates and set out the targets. People arrive from 9am onwards ,so i will leave it to you Delta 1. If i dont get a key to the field gate, go past the bowls club and down between the main building and portocabin. You will see us beyond the tennis courts at the side of the footy pitch.I will put me sack barrow in just in case!
