There both heavier and longer than the S400k.

So I assume you have the classic.

I had both and in my opinion i found the s200 much easier to shoot, carry and generally use. Although it was a pain to keep recharging ( i had the stirrup pump) . i thought the tx200 was a great gun but just a bit to cumbersome to carry round and with the s200 it was much easier to reload , much less movement and effort and easier to get off more shots quicker espicially if fitted with the extra mag, to be honest though i would of thought your 400 would be the best out of the lot

If you don't mind it being in 22 calibre you can borrow a BSA Ultra; you won't get much dinkier than that.

Ones a PCP, the other's a springer, totally different to shoot. If you're used to an S400, stick with it, it has more shots, (so a better power curve,) and a better trigger than the S200.

I have to agree with that.

I have a 410k and a TX, and the 2 dont compare really. My mate has an S200 and although a good little rifle, I dont think it is as good as the 410 (or 400, magazine aside).

The triggers (particularly the 3 lever ones) on the 4** series are excellent and very easy to fettle/adjust.

That said, the S200 is much more compact.

Go for the TX200 (in HC and in .177), and move away from being a pcp poof.

Stand down the lynch mob, just being a wind-up. I love the TX and all my springers, but currently also have an S400C .177 on its way, so maybe I'm becoming a pcp poof, too .
