    That said, you could sell on a second hand HW45 after a year and lose nothing, it's a pretty solid investment...
    do used HW40's come up for sale very often here?

    i know this question probably gets asked a lot but if you guys were to buy one of these pistols with your experience of them, would you buy .177 or .22?

    really? i've been looking at the weihrauch website for days and unless i'm wrong they give specs for the hw40 and hw45 in both calibres?

    so assuming you guys had the choice, would you stick with .177 or go for .22?

    i was thinking if i got a hw40, it wouldn't be a long range tool and .22 might offer me more at the ranges i would be shooting at

    of course i know less than a beginner and am relying on what i have learned online so why would you go .177?
