Pistol Gala

On Saturday 3rd July 2010 The Redhill Revolvers, in association with the Umarex Boys Club, are holding a Pistol Gala, to be held at the Co-Operative Sports and Social Club (LE4 4DE), Birstall, Leicester. The event will start at 10.00am and conclude at about 4.00pm after the presentation of awards.

Disciplines taking part will include:
• 10 to 15 target HFT Course to be shot twice with an award for the top scores for aided sight and open sight.
• I.P.A.S. discipline with an award for the overall winner.
• 6 Yard Paper Target shooting in 4 categories: SSP, Spring, CO2 and pre charge. There will be placings for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each of these categories, each attaining awards.

Safety briefs and full instruction will be in place on the day for anyone who is new to the disciplines. The main aim of the event is to promote the sport of pistol shooting and for all to have safe fun.

Entry cost will be £5.00 which will allow you to enter all the said events and we hope to have spare pistols for loan on the day.

There are no catering facilities on site so a picnic is a good idea. There are shops nearby, a local pub, McDonalds and KFC only 10 minutes away by foot from the club ground.
