id love to attend but unsure if ill be able to make it yet.
as train times would put me in the area at about 9.40 and id have a 6km run to make it for 10
and would then have to shoot off straight away to make it back.
Oooh Ouch, sounds more like a biathlon than a Gala Sol.

Steve, are there any B&B's nearby for people who would be travelling a long way?

Locally there is a travel lodge at the new services on the A46 on the edge of Birstall. The Brant Inn at Groby Tel -01162 872703 www.thebrantinn.com. These are the 2 most local I can think of. There is a B+B in Wanlip village though i dont know anything about it ,I just pass by it from time to time.
Hope this helps anyone and thanks Bob for the prompt in this section.

The Munch Box snack bar is now booked and hopefully we will have support from Kibworth gun shop on the day for any essential supplies.
We should have a demo pistol from Air Arms for people to try and some of the guys from Webley will be in attendance.
Just wish we could book the weather

It was Brocock who was down to attend the UBC Meet at the greyhound. Webley turned up with the Alecto at the third meet last October.

Thanks Paddy, any chance you can get Brocock to the Gala!!???? The more competition the better and we will then find out who has the best pistol! Still it all comes down to personal preference, one mans meat is another mans poison, so all the traiders could be winners.
