    I bought one for my black 1911 and one for my nickel, all I need now is a (sacrilege I know) nice second hand .177 Sharp Innova barrel to make quality long replacements from

    do you know about the problems you get when you extend the barrel in these?
    apparently they far outweigh the benefits.

    i spoke to dremelit(sp??) about getting some mods done on my gold cup when i first got it, and he said that there are problems with indexing and over gassing.
    he said they aren't insurmountable problems, but it takes time=extra cost, and the extra power/accuracy you get isn't really worth it.

    I'm just making this sound more appealing now by adding to the challenge aren't i
