    Mk 1 Airsporter

    Valuation Please
    A Mk 1 Airsporter G22980. .22

I’m pretty sure she’s a MK 1, please correct me if I’m wrong, no scope slots, tapered barrel.

Untouched condition, its been will looked after, woodwork is used with depressions but not scratched. It the three piece stock, I’m pretty sure its Walnut. No Splits or cracks. The Stock Bolt cover is missing. The BSA stock stamp is crisp.

Bluing is faded as expected with a gun of this age, however it is original with etching vaguely visible AIRSPORTER (pilearm logo) RIFLE. No pitting just loss of finish.
The Bluing is a bit tiger stripy but like I say original.

Sights are in good condition also.

She is tight as a novice nun everything fits well no loosed bits, the under leaver and loading tap feel like new.

She shoots very well, the trigger in particular is very nice, with a long light first stage and a firm crisp second stage.

Overall she’s lovely. She would make a great vintage HTF gun.

She will be up for sale once I have a valuation, please no offers yet, either by PM or on replies.

    Hi Murl

I am far from being an expert on these but, I paid £ 120 five years ago for one in slightly better condition.

    £ 120 for me

Hi Murl, I would say £120-£130 is about its money. Slightly better condition ones with etching might go £150 and really very good ones £180.

    Hope that helps
