Hi Gents, I asked for a valuation on this rifle a short while ago but for some reason could not load the pics so please bear with me. The serial no. is A4150 it is .177. The rear sight is PH17B front is FS22A. There are marks on the barrel and on top of the action (see pics). The wood is nice with only small marks, there are indentations by the medalion. There are burrs on the stock screws and the rear sight screws. The gun shoots nice, any help much appreciated as I wish to sell.

A lovely piece - the A before the number places it as one of the later ones.
In the condition shown by the 'photos I would certainly agree (as above) £300 minimum. The right buyer would probably pay more.
If selling I'd start at £350 and negotiate down (but not by much!)
P.S. - I'd love to get my hands on those butchered screw heads - clean them up, re-file and re-blue them. There is money in the detail!

Oh yes - a dremel, a file, some wet and dry and then a bit of heat and sump oil (hush my mouth) or some cold bluing solution.Paul

In reality I have just bought a Mark 3 - the stock needs repairing and it is now in a vice after glueing a split.
I have stripped the action and am now "repairing" all of the screws, the heads of which are chewed. I am using the said dremel, a file and wet and dry. I will then blue them.
Trust me the devil is in the detail and perfect screw heads make all the difference.
God - I have become a nerd.

Thanks very much for the valuations, I was worried about the marks and the burred screws!!. I have a busy day today, so will post for sale when I get back about four pm.
