    Phoenix

    I see its the Phoenix meeting at Bisley next weekend, Have never been but am thinking of going for the first, not to shoot but to buy have slots for 44 bp pistol and .303 rifle. And wondering if there is many dealers in attendance etc. Also do you have to pay to get in ?

    Also do you get any gunsmiths or martini henry experts there, as would like some advise on a martini henry I am thinking of putting on my licence.

    There would be many traders there that would help you out at the show.
    Most of them there are a friendly bunch.You dont have to pay to get in either.

    It may be worth taking a risk and going into Fultons with your Martini query
    In fact if you stand outside Fultons front door and look to your right there is another "shop" (part of Fultons) where they display their antique stock.
    I think its called The Kings Shilling. They have a website I believ.

    They have a very nice selection of Martini Henrys. Bought a lovely Mk 2 from there last year. It's still off ticket at the moment.

    GU24 0PB is the post code for satnav

    main dealers will be in the pavillion and surrounding area

    theres a huge number of traders in attendance at the phoenix,

    varied selection.

    Oh and don't forget the pavillion goes beyond the canteen. A chap on here last year complained of only seeing 4 stalls. He didn't walk past the canteen

    while your there its worth taking a trip round the ranges to have a look whats on

    melville is home to most of the gallery rifle matches, stickledown next to it has the steel plate and bianchi matches
