if you use crossman co2 you don't need to, if using non-lubed co2 bulbs its a good idea to put a drop on every tenth or so capsule.
i've been reading and hearing about this crosman pellgun oil and seen people putting it on their c02 bulbs. is it a good idea to use this? and is it only for c02 bulb pistols or should i get some and put it on the weirauch hw40 i am preparing to buy?
thanks a lot

how about lube for a weirauch hw40? pellgun oil or normal gun oil?
thanks a lot sol
I use pellgunoil on my Gamo Compact which is a similar pistol.
I put one drop on the cylinder intake hole, and a drop on the breech seal.
This is only about once every three months.
I store it opened slightly so the breech seal isn't compressed all the time.
I bung a drop on the tip of every 5th capsule or so, more for the PX4, even with oiled capsules - it can't hurt to have a little too much lube on your seals.
It seems to work nicely for SSP seals too, find the air inlet hole at the front of the compression tube and apply a drop, then cock, it gets sucked into the cylinder ahead of the main seal. I probably only oil SSPs every 200 pellets or so,
