I remember reading on here a while back now that Pellgun oil is simply automatic transmission fluid in a tiny tube.
Never been brave enough to try it, though...

Looking at the prices on JSR, I'll certainly agree with that (I've seen the other part said before as well).
Bisley Gun Lubricant, which I use (as opposed to any general 'Gun Oil' they may also make) or the similar Abbey SM50 - equally good for seals and also pivots etc.

Dunno,
Pellgunoil might seem expensive but it lasts ages so doesn't actually cost much in real terms.
I haven't been bothered to find out what the Auto Transmission Fluid type is (if it is). As there are at least two types which are not cross compatible - anyone giving this info needs to specify which they've tested,
Regards,
Nick

According to the safety sheet for Pellgun Oil it is MONOLEC GFS SAE 30 Engine Oil.
Described as “A technologically superior single grade engine oil designed for diesel engines. It achieves its superior performance levels through the use of select 100% paraffinic base stock with a high natural viscosity index.”
