    Info on BSA Mercury please

Hi folk, I was offered a BSA Mercury today but it was really rusty and stock split, my question is can any body date it for us please?

The only number i can find is under the breech. TE4925

I've had a look on Chambers site but can't find that number. it has the one piece cocking arm. thanks.

if its defo a mercury it may have had a meteor barrel fitted at some point as they both fit the same it should have mercury on the cylinder between the scope rail maybe worth sticking a photo up
