hi can anyone suggest a scope to go on my new prosport for hft

Try to keep the objective lens size down to extend your depth-of-field. You want plenty of aim points so a mil-dot or half-mil dot scope helps there. After that, it depends on how big your budget is.

I have an MTC Viper 10x44 on mine - does fine. The Pro-Sport is benign enough not to beat a scope to death.

The Edgar Bros 10x42 is another choice, but more than twice the price.
Another option is the Falcon menace 4-14x44
If you're really flush a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16x42 is nice

The latest Hawke 10x42 S/F is well worth a look too, £206 new if you look around hard enough.
