Andy 'Ikarma' has already said that he is advertising this at the Greyhound.

I wonder if Andy will take that side on about checking local dealers perhaps?

rotating it will probably be the best.

Sol, do you have any further details about who would actually buy these? Is it, to your knowledge just "general" scrap dealers, or a more specialised kind?
i dont mind who it goes to, and i would rather it be a group decision as appose to me choosing just so everyone gets an input.

all i know is they are worth approx 2.5p each, don't know if its just general scrap or something specific though.

    I thought that was Nick?

Seriously though, I've had another thought about this. We could have people attending the meets volunteering to be regional collection points for spent CO2 carts. Personally I'd be happy to travel 20 miles or so to meet people who want to "donate" their used caplets, and I reckon we could pretty much have most of the country covered if we get enough volunteers?

Bob Ruggles from Lea Valley has been doing this for quite some time. He would probably be able to tell you who buys them.
He who dies with the most toys wins. Flying, shooting, fishing and sports cars, what more could a man want.

If anyone could collect the spent lead form a target session that would be worth a fortune if everyone emptied there pellet traps and saved them up. just a thought.

    get everyone on board

Apart from the whole green thing, the money for charities would be great not only for the carities, but will gain a good name for the sport, we could contact as many clubs as possible to see if we can get them on board, plus we could ask dealers if they would offer a collection service to their customers, - this could do with being listed in the rifles section also. This could be huge if enough people are willing to get on the wagon - it always seems such a waste throwing em out!
