was a great day and i really enjoyed it, even though the course was rather tricky today, hense the marksman title i guess.

And as ever everyone was friendly and helpfull, even for a newbie like me. Was loving the new pro-sport, just need to learn my ranges and i'm sure i'll do better on round 2 in two weeks.

I was easy to spot being the only dreadlocked one today

Smile I think Thumper owes me a favour....

A fabulous day and a fabulous course, just an unfortunate level of muppetry on my part

There are days when everything just *clicks*, and then there are days like today.... when you end up lobbing valienetly at the target more in hope than anything....
Its odd how something as simple as putting a reducer out beyond its expected distance plays havoc with your rangefinder abilities. Metres, yards, greenhouses.... I may as well have been using spacehoppers as my unit of measure for all the good it was doing me. You know its a tricky course when you're relieved just to hit the target, and a knock down is a bonus!

Well done to Rob et al on the course setting. I'm going to have a quiet word with the rabbits and see if some of the larger debris (like the big rocks and wooden lintels) being used to obscure the targets might *dissapear* before the next one.....

Must away, need to finish my 100 lines of "I must try harder to hit the **** target" .

Oooh nearly forgot... saw the new Diana 470TH in the shop.... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! Fortunately my wallet made a bid for freedom and fled before it could suffer any further trauma. Very...very....nice.

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

A very "interesting" course today, thanks Rob.

I must keep reminding myself what of you say, shoot the course, NOT the target...

Yes, I did that today.........shot pellets all over the course, but not many on the targets!
Still, great fun, and wasn't the weather kind to us (again)?
    Better luck next time.

Another good course thanks Rob. I shot like pants with a pcp should stick to what I know and boing round like Dyson. Still it was fun to see Levi miss a full kill at ten yards, after having said it was not possible to miss it.

    Excellent course,

Shot with the dreaded Goss Mk 1 and 2 along with young Tom, and had a real good laugh,

Tom you are shooting far too well, Pack It In

Thank you to the kind people who kept telling me my scope had fallen off

    Met a few new faces,

    A good day,

    Cheers All, Ratty.
