    Pre War BSA Sights ?

Hi, my question is, will a set of sights from a Light pattern rifle fit a Standard pattern BSA and if so will they be usable as I believe the Light pattern foresight is fairly tall... Thanks for looking Dave...

The sights from the light pattern will fit the full length standard as long as it is a 1919-1939 gun. The earlier pre-1919 guns had a sight of a slightly different design, so strictly are not really interchangable.

One thing to bear in mind is that the rearsight of the light pattern will be marked up to 30 yds, whereas the rearsight on the full length .22 guns were marked with gradations up to 50 yds.

    Re Sights

    Hi,

For a better result why not splash out and get new from Knibbs or Chambers....It would make better sense the foresight on light patterns are much higher the rear sights are different again....THE RIFLES LOOK BETTER THE WAY THEY WERE MEANT TO BE....

    Regards
