Hi Ian.
Sorry, I'm not selling my FWB65, but I just thought I'd offer a tip: bear in mind these pistols might be 30 years old or more (mine was made in about 1973) and they may still be fitted with the original seals, which corrode badly. I've just spent £130 having mine resealed and serviced, so either budget for this before buying or try to find one recently resealed; newer breech seals are blue. Despite this cost, I still consider mine a good buy. Good luck finding one, they come up every so often but you have to watch the sales board like a hawk as they are snapped up quickly. Truly wonderful pistols, you won't regret buying one.

What Matt says about the original seals is true, although many FWB spring pistols sold these days have already been resealed at some point.
If you find a pistol which does need a reseal and respring and you wanted to do it yourself, it'll cost you £60 posted to the UK for all the necessary parts from Nikkonos in Canada. You may even get them cheaper in the UK?
Seals alone from Nikkonos cost about £36 posted and often the original springs are still working perfectly 30 years on so don't need replacing.
We'll have to rethink the message about the modern replacement breech seal always being blue - they are now being reproduced in a lovely shade of green.
Good luck with your search Ian.

Ah, thanks for that info Garvin. That really is a lovely colour!

Thanks guys - thats really helpful.
Ive kind of wanted one of these since the 80's and have decided that its now time top get my arse in to gear!
I figured that a service and new seals etc would probably be needed.
I am watching a couple on eGun at the moment - problem is that they wont post internationaly. Ive emailed them anyway - no response as yet - probably down to my dodgy bablefish English to German translation. I will keep looking there as I think its my best bet in the short to medium term. Unless I get lucky here of course..

Update
Ive just bought one - from a dealer in Germany - if all goes to plan it will be with me this time next week!
A big thanks to Taylor for his eGun advice http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=465641
It feels like a bit of a gamble buying unseen in this manner but the seller has a 400+ positive feedback rating. Well, we shall see..
Cheers
Ian
