    Is there not a rule that a shotgun must fire a minimum of nine projectiles not exceeding .36" in diameter?

    Those figures are just off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure that's the case? I'm pretty certain you couldn't just start firing .45 cal balls around on a SGC, smooth bore or not?

    Following on from my last comment which doesn't seem to have appeared here yet. The minimum number of pellets for a conventional shotgun is actually five not nine. But the maximum of .36" is correct.

    Whether this applies to BP kit though I can't be sure but I can't see why it wouldn't?

    Thats just cartridges. Doesn't apply to a M/L.
