Unknown (German?) prewar stock I.D. help please.

Got this a while ago with some other old stuff....It has the look of an Haenel or similar to me, but can anyone (Garvin!)....identify it positively, and possibly help with a value if any please?

It is quite a nice piece of wood, in good order except for the dings on the RHS

    Many thanks in advance, Ed

Sorry Ed, I'm not sure. It sort of looks familiar but isn't quite like the ones I have or know about.

Maybe Lawrie would know? He's seen a lot of old guns up close, many more than I have.

Ed, Looks nice might fit my .25 Millita (had to make a stock for it). Got to be worth £30.
