    Shepreth Results 4/7/10

Normally, most people would moan about a bit of wind, but today it was a blessing, as it kept the heat at bay and stopped us all overheating. Wind on a 10-10-10 course however, made it somewhat challenging and some of the trees that targets were strapped to, wouldn't stay still . We had the shooters from Thope Hall & Wakering join us today, i am fairly sure they all enjoyed the shoot, with one or two of them having taken a medal home - nice to see you all again.
Thanks to those who helped set up and pack away, to Sarah for the great food and also a very big thanks to Andrea for helping Sarah out at short notice - all before putting in a very respectable score!

Thanks Mark for a great day's shoot. An interesting course although I am a bit worried for the mental stability of someone who puts a target on a moving tree and then has you shooting from another moving tree. Sadism in the extreme

Gives us a lot to think about for our course. Possibly targets on the lines of The Pit and the Pendulum.

Great weather, great course, great food, great company. What more could you ask for?

How about a philanthropist for a course setter and less wind

Anyway, a thoroughly enjoyable day and thank you to Justin for shooting with Steve Burton and myself.

When one shoots a course as challenging as this, it reinforces the suspicion that one has had for some time, namely that one is actually rubbish
