    Pistol Loading stand

    Hi I've been looking on other forums at stands to hold an ROA whilst you load it, are they any good? does anyone know where I can get one from or have any plans so I can make one of my own?

    Hi Rick

    I just held my gun up against some 3/4 oak plank I had & it was trial & error


    Took no time to make & makes loading the gun on its own a treat

    I load off the gun now & still use the stand to hold the pistol on the shooting point while I am off using the loading press.

    I'll get up in the loft & measure it out for you tomorrow if you like

    I put hinges on mine so it would fit into my shooting box.

    Im crap at woodwork, but fancy a go at making one.

    Scale drawings, or a sketch on the back of a postage stamp might help too.

    do you need a stand? or are you like me and like gadgets lol, easy to load by hand realy, and got to say love black powder pistols, think they make the world go round haha
