    Russ Firestorm Anniversary Shoot

Ok Gang for those of you that knew and had the pleasure of meeting Russ Firestorm, it's the anniversary of his passing on the 17th, and we would like to shoot a competition in his memory.

We will shoot Russ's dedicated target (download Here) at 6 yrds, Paddy will put up a list of rules shortly, and those of us that own one of Russ's pistols will be using them in his memory. You can use any pistol as long as it's not a PCP just to keep things fun and interesting. Competition will start on the 10th July and scores to be in by midnight on the 17th July and sent to Paddy at ubc.competition@googlemail.com

Comp is open to all UBC members, if your not a member and want to join in you are more than welcome.

Good Luck and don't forget to raise a glass to Russ on the Saturday.

I met Russ once at the first UBC meet and my impression of him was a happy go lucky and thoroughly likeable chap.

I was saddened to hear of his passing.

I'll be proud and honored to shoot it with Russ's very own Gamo R77 revolver.

Though I prefer the original rubber grips it came with, I'll install the wooden ones Russ carved.

That way, he can be right there shooting with us.

I never knew Russ, nor do I own any of his pistols, or even the same pistols.

However I'd be proud to take part and dedicate every shot to a fellow pistolier.
