I have just printed mine off ready for tomorrow, Russ's CP88 has been cleaned for the occasion and ready to go. All i need now is for Stubby Smith to guide them pellets home.
Fancy shooting your air pistols & rifles a bit more, then guy's & gal's come visit us at the
UBC for loads of fun competitions for all types of air pistols and rifles.

I said a prayer of dedication to Russ before firing.

Shot mine last night, with Russ's trusty CP88, it all started well, you can guess the rest.

Come on Guy's and Gal's lets get those scores in.

    Hi all

Thanks to all those who have taken part so far. 11 entries in total.

Still would be nice if a few more would take part. We had 30 competitors on our last 6yd, lets see if we can beat that.

I met Russ at our first meet & had a lot of banter there & on the forum.

He was a likeable chap, so even if you didn't know him ten minutes of your time shouldn't go a miss.

    Regards
    Paddy.

I'll be shooting the Russ Tribute on Saturday along with the 10m, and I hope that a lot more can find the time to join in, even if you never knew or met Russ.

In an effort to assist people to shoot the comp in the appropriate spirit, I've found a list of pistols Firestorm had...

    Sheridan EB22, Gamo Compact:R77-4:Falcon, Walther PPK, CP88 shiney, SMK G10, Baikal 53M:MAK, Crosman 357

...mind you, knowing old Russ, that list was probably only accurate for about a week - he did like to chop and change his pistols!

Must mean he actually hit the target for once.
