No, just the amount of fills from the bottle. Lower pressure in bottle=less fills
Anyone tell me
if you divers bottle is not filled to the correct pressure
ie 210bar dose this effect the foot pounds ov your gun
cheers manxi
No, just the amount of fills from the bottle. Lower pressure in bottle=less fills
Tehnically, no, as a gun is generally recommended to be filled as far as I was aware to around 200bar (although check the manuf info).
The bottle will empty as you use it anyway, so it will reach a point below the gun's optimum shooting power and from there it's down-hill on the power.
The difference is if you have a 300bar bottle and you charge it to only 232bar, then it's a bit of a waste of cash as you should have bought a 232bottle.
Also the lower the pressure the less the charage, and hence logically the less the amount of times you can fill the gun.
The formula for the number of fills is as follows:
232 bar cylinder, 12 litre capacity used to fill a rapid 400cc bottle.
232x12=2784/(bottle+gun[12+.4])=224.5bar
224.5x12=2694/(bottle+gun[12+.4])=217.2bar
and so forth... (NB, no allowance has been made for wastage either in the flexible hose or valve port connection).
Hence the higher the pressure the more fills you get...
Hopefully others out there can confirm the above's correctness.
