    Posting Guns

    Whats the best way to post a rifle to someone? Do i take off the scope or not, where do i get bubble wrap and a suitable box?

    I usually try and blag a spare rifle box (the cardboard ones they're supplied in) from my friendly local gunstore

    Try and get away with sending that length of box but, if the Post Office refuse as it's too long, just separate the stock from the action and wrap the two pieces separately in plenty of bubble wrap, then cut the box down to suit.

    I find the best place to get bubble wrap is to nick it from work
