If anyone wants to try plastic BB's, safety glasses are a must please.

If you have them, please bring them, I'll try to sort some spares out.

The Comp will be shot with lead pellets only.

    Safety first ,second and last.

Can you imagine Iron Plate shooting with plastic BB's You'd need to dressed like Ned Kelly

Mind you, you could get a good rhythm going between body armour then iron plate then body armour etc

I know, it's not safe. Would be funny to see though

Sorry Richard, I am taking you seriously, the thought just tickled me

the plates only need angling a few degrees and you dont get anything coming back towards the shooter or watchers if you set up on the end of the line

Why would I expect anyone to take me seriously?

I am sure there are ways of setting the plates up safely for BB, (we will probably find out!) but I'm sure the last thing any of us want is an avoidable injury.

Paul, you might look better wearing a waste paper basket.

I might shoot better if I missed out the eye holes!

    Present in Spirit

Jan and I will be there, in spirit, now and forevermore!

Mates, you've been so nice in your remembering Jan that I'd like to do something for the UBC / ask you to do something for us once again. I'd like to institute a Jan McArthur Memorial Award, some plaque or such that I will pay for, to be given out at all future meets.

To the top woman shooter that day, maybe?

Many years back, Mick Jagger portrayed Ned Kelly in a movie. Did anyone here see it? I never did.

I've seen it a couple of times. Jagger was really quite good in it.
